This exhibition is a collaborative work between Eric Acuña, a multimedia artist and graduate from the School of Art and Design at Texas State University, and Gabriel Mestas, a Research graduate with a Master of Science - MS focused in Physics from Texas State University. Their relationship began through an interest in each other's work via Instagram. After several conversations on technology and mathematics's role in art, they soon began experimenting with expanded media through various electronics tools, circuit devices, and code.

SELF.START(TIME=(0.0,’INFTY’)) is an exploratory result of their ongoing curiosity and conversation about the depths of our senses through objects, sound, and imagery in a space-based audio-visual environment. The space also examines the use of real-time energy transformation and mathematical representation to illicit the joy of learning and to promote curiosity among viewers.
