DISTORTED
REALITY
2020
Texas State University’s Division of Dance presents their annual B.F.A in Performance and Choreography showcase entitled, “Distorted Reality”. Filmed at The Patti Stricken Harrison Theater and other locations in TX.
“Distorted Reality” represents the unique creation and expression of choreographers working in unprecedented circumstances. This show will give you a unique experience as each piece will touch on personal and social issues. You will experience a one of a kind, online concert where dancers had the unusual ability to not use contact. This production is an exposé of works choreographed and developed by seniors in the Texas State Dance Division who auditioned to receive their B.F.A in Performance and Choreography. Such artists include Arianna Alford, Tra’Vonta Boggas, Daniel Garcia, Jose Garcia, Dawson Graham, Yanneth Hachar, and Lucille White, as well as Eric Acuña (Senior BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Expanded Media).
